This record-breaking competition will award Channel 4’s biggest-ever daytime prize, a château worth £250,000. Led by Head Judge Max McMurdo, alongside guest judges from Chateau DIY, contestants face real-world renovation and design challenges that test creativity, practicality, and resilience under pressure.

Set across three heat weeks, four pairs compete in each heat to secure a place in the final. Every Friday, the remaining pairs leave the prize property to take on demanding event challenges in working châteaux, serving real guests under real scrutiny. One by one, pairs are eliminated, with only the strongest returning for the grand finale, where the ultimate winner is crowned.
