Chateau DIY is the extremely popular Channel 4 series which celebrates the efforts of people who have given up everything to battle budgets, language and DIY dilemmas to try and restore their dilapidated French chateaus to their former glories.
Voiced by acclaimed stage and screen actor Adjoa Andoh, this long-running Channel 4 favourite has now surpassed 250 episodes. Its global success has seen the brand sell to more than 200 territories worldwide.
After a highly successful run of Series 8 in Q2 2025, Channel 4 repeated the entire Chateau DIY catalogue in the same 5pm weekday slot — keeping the show on air continuously for six months and delivering stellar ratings. It became Channel 4’s best-performing daytime series of 2025, averaging more than 30% above the channel’s slot average.
Series 9 has just wrapped filming and will air in early 2026, with Series 10 entering production in January.
