Grid Master is a compelling and combative new quiz show where knowledge and strategy combine as players take on the all-powerful Grid. The show combines basic human competitive nature – the need to collaborate, and also to scheme against others – in an instantly recognisable format. The centrepiece of the show is the all-powerful Grid. The Grid has 30 slots which are laid out in 6 columns and 5 rows and are numbered 1-30.
Three teams of two people take on this all-powerful Grid on every show. In a nutshell, players take it in turns to answer general knowledge questions to secure numbers on the Grid. The aim of the game is to use these numbers to complete a variety of shapes, which will add different numbers of points to their tally. The winning team wins through to the Final Showdown where they’ll get to take on the reigning champions for the chance to win a cash prize.
